The Book

Three questions carried through a lifetime.

The memoir develops around three questions that stayed with Dwayne: identity, origin and direction.

01

Who am I?

Identity beyond job titles, roles and the expectations of other people.

02

Where did I come from?

Caribbean childhood, family, migration and the experiences that formed the early frame.

03

Where am I going?

Building a life deliberately through work, learning, family, experimentation and long-horizon projects.

Writing Standard

Memoir without manufactured mythology.

The book is being built from lived experience, retained records and careful recollection. The aim is not to make every experiment look successful; it is to preserve the decisions, mistakes, questions and turning points that actually shaped the journey.

Human first

Family, migration, work and uncertainty remain part of the story rather than being flattened into a founder résumé.

Evidence-aware

Where dates, records, photographs or public evidence exist, they are used to strengthen chronology and accuracy.

Still unfinished

The title reflects the central premise: the story is being written while the author is still becoming.
